Manufacturing Methods :(a) Anthracene-1,4,9,10-tetraol or 1,4-Dihydroxyanthracene-9,10-dione and Anthracene-1,4,9,10-tetraol mixture with 2 moles of p-Methylaniline boric acid condensation; (b) 1,4-Dichloroanthracene-9,10-dione and 2 moles of p-Methylaniline condensation.
Properties and Applications:blue light green. Appearance of the blue blackpowder. Insoluble in water, soluble in Chloroform, benzene, xylene, N, N – Dimethylformamide organic solvent. In concentrated sulfuric acid for blue, blue green precipitation after dilution. Mainly used for polystyrene, ABS resin, rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC), etc. Various kinds of plastic color, also can be used for polyester protoplasmic coloring.
