Hydrophilic Silicone Fluid 972CF

Silicone Oil 972CF is a block type silicone oil/fluid, it imparts fabric a good soft and smooth hand feel. 972CF is mainly used for cotton fabric and terry towel to get good softness and hydrophilicity.

Characteristics and advantage

◎ Nearly no yellowing to white and light colors.

Basic property

Appearance: transparent to light yellow thick liquid

Ionic: weak cationic

pH: 6.0~7.0 (1% aqueous solution)

Solubility: can be diluted with emulsifiers. Usually emulsified into 20-40% solid to use

Application field

Fibers: cotton woven, cotton knit and terry towel,

Hand feeling grade: 1- inferior; 5- best

Cotton knits: 4.8

Cotton terry towel: 4.5

Cotton woven fabrics: 4.6

Application process

Exhaust：972CF 20% solid emulsion 0.5~3.0% o.w.f

Temperature：30-50℃ Time：20-30min Dry 100-130℃

Padding：972CF 20% solid emulsion 10-50g/L Dry 100-130℃

Packing 110kg, 180kgs/drum

Storage Should be stored in a warehouse in the shade, storage for 8-12 months
